01 The Transaction Set Control Number must be assigned such that it willuniquely identify one transmission of a 214 transaction set. This numberis used by the receiver in the 997 acknowledgement to indicate that thisspecific 214 either was acceptable or had errors. ST02 in this headersegment (ST) must match SE02 in the trailer segment (SE). This numbershould also be sequential.
