Applicants checklist2021 Monash Health Graduate Program
Applications open: 13 July, 2020 Close: 5 August, 2020.
1. If eligible, register with PMCV APS and rank your preferred Monash Health Graduate Program Streams.
2. Create an account at Monash Health online recruitment.
3. Read the Application Guidelines carefully.
4. To submit a full application you’ll need to:
a. Complete a Monash Health Graduate Program Application Template.
b. Attach a recent copy of your academic transcript.
c. Attach two summative clinical appraisals from your most recent acute/sub-acute/critical care clinical placements.
d. Provide details of your clinical references.
5. Submit your application through the relevant job advertisement. (Refer to page two of this document for full job listing.)

Graduation Application hacksAcademic transcriptIf you expect significant delays in obtaining a transcript, submit your application with your most recent transcript, even if this does not contain any third year results. It’s important to get your application in by 5 August 2020.
You can always send through an updated transcript via email to [email protected].
Summative appraisals• We prefer third year acute (including critical care)
appraisals.
• Second year acute or sub-acute are also acceptable.
• If applying to the general streams, Mental Health or community placement appraisals are NOT acceptable unless there is no other option.
Clinical referees & availability• Identify TWO referees you will submit to the Postgraduate
Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV).
• Organise an additional 2-3 referees in case the first two are unavailable. Clinical referees are essential.
• Touch base with your referees prior to submitting your application and confirm they are available to provide a reference.
• Referees can act on behalf of other graduates as well, so consider emailing a photo to remind them who you are.
• Confirm referee contact details are current and correct.
Your email addressDo NOT apply to graduate programs from university email addresses.Best practice is to use a gmail, yahoo or outlook email address instead. Also, check your junk folder regularly!

Getting registeredSuccessful Monash Health applicants are NOT permitted into the program unless they are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a RN or RM.
Familiarise yourself with the registration process and commence this asap.
Application paperwork• Cover letters, personal resumes or CVs are not required.
• Use Monash Health Graduate Application Template ONLY.
Application tipsRead the Application Guidelines carefully and follow all instructions. Submissions with incomplete or missing information cannot be considered.
Application due datesDon’t leave your application to the last minute!
Applications close 11.45pm Wednesday 5 August 2020 and are NOT accepted after this date.
