AccommodationReservations have been made at: Millennium, Queenstown, 32 Frankton Road, Queenstown

Accommodation bookings for the following rates can only be booked through SP Conference Management. Accommodation cannot be guaranteed after Friday 9th July 2021. Rates quoted are per night per room and GST inclusive.

CANCELLATIONSThese rates are available with full payment and there are no cancellation refunds after Sun 18th July 2021.

EARLY AND LATE ARRIVALCheck in is from 1500 hours. Whilst the hotel will do everything possible to accommodate early arrivals, if you wish to be guaranteed immediate access to your room, you will need to pay an extra night’s tariff for the day before. Please indicate your expected time of arrival as failure to do so might mean your room could be released.

PARKINGParking is available at the Millennium for $10 per day. Please advise Sue if you require parks to be reserved during the conference.

Social FunctionsWelcome CocktailsWelcome Cocktails will be held at Millennium Hotel at 6.30pm on Wednesday evening 18th August.

EGO DinnerEGO Dinner will be held at 7pm on Thursday 19th August at Boardwalk,88 Beach St, Queenstown. This dinner is not open to trade.

Conference DinnerConference Dinner will be held at the Blue Kanu, Queenstown at 7.00pm on Friday 20th August.

Trade are welcome to request tickets on the registration form to attend the Welcome Cocktails and the Conference Dinner.

General InformationCATERINGTeas, lunches, welcome function, Ego dinner and conference dinner included in a full registration. Trade registration is inclusive of all except for the two dinners. Teas and lunch will be served amongst the trade exhibits each day.

DIETARY AND MOBILITY NEEDSShould you require any special assistance, catering or transport arrangements to be made on your behalf, please include a notation on your registration form.

PRIVACYPlease complete the section of the registration form relating to privacy if you do not wish your name and email address to be included in the published Delegate List, which will be circulated to all delegates and sponsors/exhibitors at the meeting.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCERegistrations can be made online at www.nzdsi.org. We suggest that you print a copy of your registration prior to submission. Please note it is essential for all delegates to send a completed registration form together with payment of registration fees. All pricing is inclusive of GST at 15%.

Please note: Payment by credit card will show as SP Conference Management on your statement. The full registration fee includes entry to all sessions, satchel and contents, morning and afternoon teas, lunches, Welcome Reception, Ego Dinner and Conference Dinner.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT (ALL IN $NZ)Payment of fees in full MUST accompany all registration forms. No registration will be confirmed until payment is received. Payment can be made by the following methods: online payment (Paypal or credit card) or direct credit if invoice required. Each delegate must make a separate application.

A GST invoice will ONLY be produced once the registration form and payment, or a Purchase Order has been received. Alternatively, retain a copy of the registration form, once submitted with payment, which will act as a valid Tax Invoice for GST purposes.

CONFIRMATION AND RECEIPTThe Secretariat will email a confirmation letter acknowledging your registration, accommodation booking and payment. If you do not receive an emailed acknowledgement within two weeks of sending the form, contact the Secretariat. Please check your confirmation letter carefully and notify the Secretariat immediately of any changes required.

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATIONCancellations received in writing to the Secretariat prior to Sunday 18th July 2021 will receive a refund of fees, less an administrative fee of $120.00. No refund will be issued after this date. Substitute delegates are welcome, please advise the name of the new delegate so name badges can be amended. Any changes to or cancellation of registrations must be in writing and emailed to the Secretariat.

Dr Rachel Johnson is a paediatrician and adolescent health physician who works at Kidz First Centre for youth health. She has been providing gender affirming care and support to children, adolescents and their families for over 10 years.

She was involved in the development of the guidelines for gender affirming healthcare for gender diverse and transgender children, young people and adults in Aotearoa

New Zealand and is on the executive of the newly formed PATHA (Professional association for transgender health Aotearoa)

Title: Gender Affirming Health care for trans and non binary people in New Zealand: The facts, the fiction and the basics every health professional needs to know!

Rachel is an adolescent health physician based at Counties Manukau Centre For Youth health who has been working to support trans and gender diverse children, adolescents, young adults and their families for over 10 years.

Whilst sharing her experiences working with trans and non binary young people in NZ, this session will aim to give an overview of the gender spectrum and an understanding of the evolving terminology around gender diversity. The principles of Gender affirming healthcare will be discussed including the basics of puberty blockers, gender affirming hormone therapy and surgery available in NZ.

This will include reference to the Guidelines for gender affirming healthcare for gender diverse and transgender children, young people and adults in Aotearoa Nz based on the Te whare Tapa Wha, Maori Model of healthcare.
