REPEAT MODULE FEES are charged where a student is required to repeat a module of an IIE or UFS qualification in order to progress. Repeat modules will be charged at the standard fee per module. The fee amount, where applicable, is available at your chosen campus.

PHASE-OUT MODULE FEES: Students who are required to complete phase-out modules will be charged a fee of the actual module price or R4 750 per module, whichever is the lesser.

Notes:

1. All students are required to consult the Academic Information section in the Student Handbook to ensure that they meet the entrance requirements for their selected qualification. Note that some students may be required to register for development modules to meet the entrance requirements.

2. Fees are in respect of The Independent Institute of Education’s tuition only. Academic material and all other expenses including UFS fees are for the student’s account.

3. A late registration fee of R 1 250 will apply to returning students who do not meet the registration deadline of 31 January 2019.

4. International students registering for the first time at The IIE’s Varsity College will be subject to an International Student Levy of R 6 500 payable upon registration. Returning international students will be required to pay R 5 500.

5. B.Comm Tutorial Modules: Students who achieve either a Maths Literacy mark between 50% and 59%, or a Maths mark between 30%-39% may be admitted in 2019 for contact study in the Bachelor of Commerce or other degrees with a Mathematics entrance requirement. Students must participate in 3 compulsory additional tutorials for Accounting (ACBP5111), Economics (PMIC6111) and Quantitative Techniques (QUAT5111). Tutorials are charged at R1300 each.
