Are you an experienced or budding entertainer looking for somewhere to perform? North Burnett Regional Council’s new RADF project ‘Busk Out’ may be just the initiative you are looking for! Council has waived the busking licence fee usually required to perform on the street from now until mid 2019. Buskers can now complete a busking licence form and footpath obstruction choosing dates, times and locations they would like to perform and submit for approval. This initiative is open to locals, itinerants and even visiting artists who may be coming to the area. Council acknowledges the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) funding is a joint Commonwealth and State Government program. CHRISTMAS LIGHT WINNERS The North Burnett Christmas Lights Competition winners and runners-up are: Council would like to congratulate this year’s winners as well as all residents and businesses who shined the light on Christmas by adding a bit of sparkle to their homes and businesses.
