The GOETHE-INSTITUT BERLIN is located in the Berlin-Mitte district at the Weinmeister-strasse undergroundstation. In the first-floor Consulting and Advice office, our customer management team is always pleased to discuss learners‘ individual needs in person. At our institute you will find 16 fully equipped classrooms.The media resource center offers the latest learning materials and media for individual practice and independent study to improve your German skills. The lobby is a pleasant setting to relax and enjoy conversations with other course participants.

Lesson timesA1 to B2: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.C1 to C2: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. or 1.15 p.m. – 5.45 p.m. You’ll learn in a group for approx. 8 weeks, either in a morningor afternoon course, depending on the course level. There are 6 possible starting dates spread over the entire year. This will enable you to develop your language skills and combine any number of courses to create a systematic language-learning program. At the start of your course we will ask you about your individual learning goals and follow up with ongoing support during the learning process. This results in tight integration of the classroom lessons, self-study activities and practice. At all levels you also have the option of taking one of our examinations, which are recognized around the world. The “Intensive 8” courses are based on the Common European Framework for Languages, and each course builds on the content of the previous one.

Our attractive cultural and leisure-time program will give you the opportunity to learn German while really getting to know Ger-many. The course includes a daytrip on the weekend. Come with us and explore historical Berlin and today‘s modern city: on the Berlin Wall walking tour along the former border, on the street art tour of the city‘s facades, and on a journey of discovery on the “Museum Island”. On day trips you‘ll get to know the surrounding region of Berlin, for example Postdam.
