• Eachteamwillhaveuptofourriderswithatleastonewomanandoneman,andnomorethantwomenortwowomen.Potentialteamcompositionswouldbe:WM;WMM;WWM;WWMM

• Onerepresentativeofeachteamstartstheraceandattheendofeachlap,thereisanexchangetoanotherrider.Theracewillbe4lapslongandridersmaynotdoconsecutivelaps,soexchangesaremandatoryeachlap,evenifateamhasfewerthanfourriders.

• Anytwolapsmustbecompletedbywomen.



• Theexchangeareawillbedividedintotwolanes.Ridersfinishingtheirlapwillfunnelintoonelane,andfromtheotherlane,riderswaitingtostarttheirlapwillstartmovingoncetheirteammatehascrossedtheexchangelineintheotherlane.

• Ridersmaynotexittheirstartstallsuntiltheirincomingteammatehasenteredtheexchangezone.

• TheriderfinishingalapMUSTcrossthefinishlineBEFOREhis/herteammate.[30secondpenalty]

SEVEREWEATHERGUIDELINE__________________Cyclocrossseasonbringsuniqueenvironmentalchallengestothesportofcycling.Coldweather,rain,snowandotheradverseconditionsoftenaddtothecompetitivenatureandchallengeofthesport–andarepartofwhatgivescyclocrossitsuniquecharacter.Whenlookingatweatherconditions,thesafetyoftheathletes,spectators,staffandvolunteersistheutmostpriority.Whileoftenprovidinganadditionalchallenge,adverseweatherinitsextremesmayresultinhypothermia,frostbiteorotherdangerousconditions.InpreparationfortheupcomingCyclo-crossNationalChampionshipsinHartford,CT,USACyclingandacrosssectionofkeyconstituentshavecreatedthefollowingplantohelpmitigateanyweatherrelatedriskswhilerespectingtheuniqueracingconditionsofthesport.SevereWeatherPanelInthecaseofsevereweather,thefollowinggroupwouldbeempaneledtomakedecisionsregardingtheconductoftherace(s):
