Teachers Expectations: I have a responsibility to educate students in the knowledge, skills, values and beliefs that our society supports. Within society there is a broad acceptance of the values of honesty, integrity, justice, caring, commitment and the respect of self and others. I believe that teachers who set and communicate high expectations for all their students obtain greater academic performance from those students. Students tend to learn as much as their teachers expect. I will be using students’ strengths, interest, goals and desires to help them achieve in this classroom. I believe I can guide behavior and challenge students beyond what students believe they can do. In order to that, it is important that we create an environment that is conducive for learning.
