This year’s theme was Ang tamang simula
may magandang katapusan! Truly, good
beginings lead to good endings. And the 56
children who graduated last March are
enthusiastically looking forward to their
continuing education at the public elementary
school system. Like the Child’s Hope
children before them, almost all of them will
be finishing high school, with a good number
going further to college.
Some parents and their children share their
lunch under the mango tree. Such interaction
teaches the importance of community.

56 Children complete their year with UCH
Geline invited former Child’s Hope
parents to help us spread the information on
our upcoming 30th founding anniversary
celebration on May 21st. It will also be a
homecoming for those who had been with us
from the year 1987 to 2007.

The children and their families all enjoyed the very beautiful closing ceremonies.
Our library serves the children well.
Everyone loves the beautiful books donated
by friends. The DVD showing of educational
cartoons is also a big hit! And the special
playtime with Lego and other educational
toys is of course always a happy occasion.
We can read!
Teacher Maribel does wonders! Her 5-year

from Las Vegas and Lou Fuerte from Seattle.
Manny and PI Natividad celebrated their
45th wedding anniversary, and they asked
their guests to donate to Child’s Hope in lieu
of gifts. Thank you for the financial help and
the goodies for the children!
