This year’s theme was Ang tamang simula may magandang katapusan! Truly, good beginings lead to good endings. And the 56 children who graduated last March are enthusiastically looking forward to their continuing education at the public elementary school system. Like the Child’s Hope children before them, almost all of them will be finishing high school, with a good number going further to college. Some parents and their children share their lunch under the mango tree. Such interaction teaches the importance of community. Photo sessions Child’s Hope is a non-profit, non-stock corporation dedicated to the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to develop into the person God has created him or her to be. Its mission school is located at Lotus Drive, Beverly Hills, Antipolo/Taytay, Philippines. It will also be a homecoming for those who had been with us from the year 1987 to 2007. Our library serves the children well. Everyone loves the beautiful books donated by friends. The DVD showing of educational cartoons is also a big hit! And the special playtime with Lego and other educational toys is of course always a happy occasion. We can read! Teacher Maribel does wonders! Her 5-year old pupils start reading in just a couple of months – in both English and Tagalog! Valedictorian Andrei poses with his proud parents and the Child’s Hope founders. Loren visited with Joji and Barry Wendel from Las Vegas and Lou Fuerte from Seattle. Manny and PI Natividad celebrated their 45 th wedding anniversary, and they asked their guests to donate to Child’s Hope in lieu of gifts. beginings lead to good endings. And the 56

children who graduated last March are
