Clothing hangerfixture design

This project aimed to make items more accessible in a small swimwear store

that uses high, wall-mounted fixtures to store clothing. The employees often had

difficulty reaching products.

Early ideas used hooks or ladders to help reach objects. I later went for more radical solutions

The most promising concepts focus on automated systems for raising and lowering clothing racks that can adjust length for more clothing, or fold away when empty

Topiariusbranding design

This project was an exercise in branding. Starting with a bare building, we

designed the exterior to express the brand of the urban gardening company

that would use it as a retail space.

The ideas incorporate some of the main products the company offers, including trellises and rooftop planting space

Concepts use the outer space to visually demonstrate the company’s purpose

Vacuum Redesignproduct design

This project was developed as an improvent of a real vacuum that had

functional flaws. The new model would have better portability and compactness.

I started by analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the original product. I then sought to enhance it.

Later concepts used collapsing parts to enhance compactness, and wireless tech to improve portability.

Various funcions and configurations Final design concept sketch model

The final concept enhances compactness and versatility with a detachable cordless

unit and a telescoping handle.

Makeup Displayfixture design

This project was developed as a display fixture for the Benefit cosmetics

company. It brings the customer into a scene that expresses the company brand.

The use of a familiar furniture piece encourages a bond with the product being presented

The branding is carried through the design with the shape and feet of the vanity cabinet. The functional drawers are for product storage and professional makeup tools

The inspiration came from spacesuit tech. Unlike other lunchboxes, this one appears to be a helmet when empty

Novelty Lunchbox toy design

This product concept is designed to be a funcional lunchbox, but also unique and

high quality item that can be a collectible

Marc Jacobs Demofixture design

This project was actually a skill demo for a potential employer. The goal was to

design a prospective makeup POP display that works for the Marc Jacobs brand

The demo was done in a shortened process of observing the brand, sketching, and creating the display.

The finalized concept uses the clean, modern look of the brand, coupled with images used in their ad campaign.
