The best thing about owning an interactive toy and game store is watching children discover and learn through play. Imaginations soar at the Playmobil and train play areas, problem-solving skills are used as they tackle brain-teasers, and social skills have the opportunity to develop when other children invade their play space.

It has been my experience that when play, fun and humour is incorporated into learn-ing, the experience is more enjoyable for both parent and child. Through play, children will open their minds to the new experience resulting in wanting to learn instead of the “Do I have to?” response. Of course structure and guidance is important too; the key is finding that balance of directed and self-directed learning.

Educational Product Website LaunchTeachers have asked us to put our educational products on-line so that they can share it with their colleagues and help make the ordering process easier. Site users will be able to find educational products for specific grade levels and subjects. The site will become a great educational resource for both teachers and parents as most of the products are suitable for both school and home use. Initially the site will be designed to showcase our edu-cational in-store products and to help with larger pre-orders. This website feature is expected to be up and running by end of October 2014.
