Note to ParentsCamp is magical. There’s no other way to explain the power it has in a child’s life. As adults, we recognize that campers are gaining friendship and leadership skills, self-confidence, an appreciation for the outdoors, and an awareness of community responsibility — all in an inclusive environment. They acquire these things in such a way that their lives will be touched for years to come, and for months you will hear “At camp, we . . .”

Youth see camp as a place where lifetime memories are made. They meet new friends, catch-up with friends from previous summers, and try new and different activities. They write 50 verses to multiple camp songs and spend days perfecting a 5 minute skit. They learn, grow, and challenge themselves in ways they can’t articulate. This is the magic of camp.

At Camp Fire camps, ALL youth are welcome, whether or not they are a member, and my staff and I would be honored if your child joined our camp family this year. To those new to Camp Fire camp, and to those returning after many years, your best summer yet starts here . . . welcome to your camp home.
