COCHON is a national event series that takes place in 14 major markets. Every January, COCHON 555 embarks on a 10-city culinary competition and tasting tour where 50 chefs are selected to prepare a ‘snout-to-tail’ menu created from heritage breed pigs and winners from each city are invited to participate in the Star Series. The 10 winners "Prince & Princes of Porc" are flown to Aspen for the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen for the final competition, Grand Cochon. The chefs with strong community ties and those with exceptional dishes are invited to join us at All-Star Cochon in Las Vegas.

HERITAGE SERIESCochon Heritage Fire and recently added Cochon Heritage BBQ are the final events of the COCHON tour. Each event combines our national chef community with a focus on tradition, heritage and fire cooked classics. Heritage Fire is open to all types of animals (beef, lamb, goat, rabbit, birds) and is hosted in the elegant Napa Valley prior to Harvest. Heritage BBQ is a celebration of heritage pork, fine dining, craft American spirits with the take over of National Bourbon Month, brews, family owned wineries, and BBQ, an American - and a Memphis - tradition.

THE ROAD TO FLAVOR...Our 14 city tour culminates each year in Memphis with a 3-day celebration of heritage inspired food, new twists on classics, and craft american beverages. The tour is a media pig, in just three months and five event, we are pushing over 100 million impressions in bona fide media outlets and the interest continues. Best of all, we channel all of that interest and leverage our best relationships in the culinary, beverage and food communities into the final moments of the year. Cochon is defined by its authenticity, intimate experiences and promotion of better food going forward.
