Message from the Head of School

Dear Grandparents,

Grace and peace to you! As we approach the U.S. holiday of Thanksgiving, which is one of my favorites of the year, I want to offer my heartfelt thanksgiving to you. In perusing my online dictionary, I read the following definition of thanksgiving: "grateful acknowledgement of

benefits, favors, and kindness, especially to God." It is with this sentiment that I offer thanks-giving for you to our God. Through your support, prayers, and investments in your children, your grandchildren, and our school, we are able to help each St. Paul child reach his or her best. Thank you!

As I sit around a very large table this Thanksgiving holiday (we celebrate with my wife's parents, their five children, and seventeen grandchildren),

I will offer prayers of thanks-giving for my biological family and for my St. Paul family, of which each of you are an integral part. May God bless you and keep you and your families well. I am

Yours in Christ,

Kenneth C. CheesemanHead of School

The Annual Fund

Each of our 403 students benefit from the wonderful generosity of those who believe in and support the mission of the Academy by giving to the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is the Academy's largest source of income, other than tuition. Annual Fund gifts are critical for successful execution of our mission and provide needed support on an ongoing basis.

In our celebration of grandparent giving to the Academy, we are continuing the tradition of recognizing gifts of $100 or more to the Annual Fund by naming one book in the C.S. Lewis Library for each of your grandchildren. Please prayerfully consider making a gift to the Annual Fund and honor your grandchildren with your generosity.

Please complete and return the enclosed pledge form by December 31st. If you have questions, please contact Lisa Schlachter at 615-269-4751 or [email protected].
