Dear Friends,

It takes teamwork to make a successful school. Just think for a momentof all the moving parts and all the organization and preparation, not tomention all the coming and going, which take place every day. At everylevel – students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni and friends – it is the trust, effort, and support of many people that makes a school like ours possible.

Nowhere is this teamwork any more evident than in the voluntary contributions of time, talent, and treasure that gets poured forth so generously each school year. We are blessed to have so many lovingfriends of the Academy: Consider the creative and loving activities of the Parents Association, the dedication of the Advisory Board, the extraordinary labors of the Auction Committee, the “above and beyond”efforts of our exceptional faculty and staff, and the countless ways inwhich the community comes together to enrich and support the Academy experience.

And, of course, as the following report attests, your financial support isdeep and impressive, both in terms of dollars contributed and levels ofparticipation. Our parent participation in annual giving is impressive incomparison to NAIS and peer school benchmarks. It is just this kind ofparticipation in and support of annual giving that allows the Academyboth to deepen its roots and stretch its wings.
