Solar Energy• Passive solar design uses the sun’s energy to heat and cool interior spaces. House faces due

south, and solar soffits above the windows are designed to allow sunlight to flood the house in fall, winter and spring, but to block hot summer sun from entering in the summer.

• Solar Electric Panels hidden on the main house roof produce energy to power the home’s electric and geothermal heating and cooling system. Solar panels are integrated into the electric panel along with the utility connection (PSEG). The house’s electrical panel draws upon the free solar energy 1st, and supplement when needed from the utility. Excess solar energy is sent back to the grid and turns your meter backwards to give you full credit for all your solar power.
