European Procurement Excellence 2017

European Procurement Excellence 2017before the background of digitalisation

The years ahead of us will increasingly be shaped by ongoing digitalisation, a war for real talent and disruption of existing ways and formats of supply chain collaboration. In a digitalised economy, purchasing, logistics and supply chain management need to implement system solutions and provide the necessary support. Advancing digitalisation also needs to be recognised as a pre-requisite of strong networks. Companies need to tap the full potential in order to increase quality and efficiency of their decision-making processes. Purchasing and supply chain management will play a key role in making the solutions work.

Do you feel well prepared for what is to come? If not, we can offer you an interesting information tool. Use the possibilities to discuss with experts the Internet of things on this year’s 12th „European Procurement Excellence“ Summit held on June 28, 2017 in Hamburg! Experts from renowned European enterprises such as SAP Ariba, Volkswagen, Archroma Ibérica, Clariant, Deutsche Bank, Infineon and Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology will come together to share their experiences and discuss challenges and strategies.

The European Procurement Excellence Summit 2017 is designed to provide an exchange platform to share as well as discuss approaches and strategies regarding the most pressing challenges and exciting new opportunities in the area of Procurement and Supply Chain.

This Summit will be a mix of high-level plenary contributions and various interactive formats. Amongst other things, we will discuss how procurement needs to be transformed in the course of disruptive technologies. Participants analyse internal collaboration between Finance and Procurement to drive innovation and business growth. Last but not least they discuss Supply Chain Collaboration for Innovation.

So, join us at the famous Hotel Atlantic Kempinski in Hamburg for this informal event. Be part of our procurement and supply chain community!

I am looking forward to seeing you at the event!

Digitals strategy for Procurement –

Robust enough for future challenges?

Unexpected developments can have a massive

impact on our future, as “Brexit” or the US-

election have shown impressively. A robust

corporate strategy is capable of dealing with

these developments and cushions the arising

effects successfully. In this workshop, we will

confront an existing digitalization strategy with

a variety of unexpected scenarios. The aim is

to understand and discuss the weaknesses of a

digitalization strategy, derive necessary counter

measures and define impulses for an agile

digitalization strategy.
