Sardaukar Cowl

Sardaukar is a tall cowl. By combining mosaic colorwork with simple lace a fabric is created that allows thecowl to be collapsed down around your neck and ears tokeep them snuggly and warm. Worked in Baah Obsidianand Burmese Ruby, the soft and deeply colored BaahYarn almost glows from within. We carry all of Baah’scolors in their varied yarns so there are lots of coloroptions. Based on the mosaic pattern found in Babara’sGolden Lion Throne shawl. As with all mosaic colorwork, you are knitting with only one strand of yarn at atime while strategically slipping yarn in the opposingcolor. Simple lace is worked at the same time, creatingan intriguing effect that looks much harder than itactually is. In this class you will learn to read charts andsee how adding simple lace and mosaic slipped stitch

creates the wonderfultexture in this tall cowl.Students will need tocomplete the ribbing sectionof the cowl prior to the firstclass.
