About ‘Fraxinus Sun’: This ‘sun’ image is created

from X-rays of seeds from the common ash (Fraxinus excelsior). The X-rays expose the beautiful detail in the

elegant wings that give the seeds the power of flight,

dispersing them far and wide on the wind to eventually

rise up as the ash trees of the future. The wings represent

the sun’s rays and at the base of the wings, the ‘sun’ itself
