The same is true or more fact when you are travelling. You can not be sure what kind of people you meet while travelling. 11 Things You Learn When You Travel Frequently

1. Manage with few thingsWhen you travel a lot, over the period of time you get to know that, most of the things we carry with us are really not that necessary. So, devolution from a bag to a suitcase and from that to a backpack is nothing but a natural process.2. Get along with peopleIt's said that we don't choose our relatives. The same is true or more fact when you are travelling. You can not be sure what kind of people you meet while travelling. If you are lucky, you'll come across people who share your interest and would love to interact with you. If you are not that lucky? Well, deal with it.3. Be ready to adapt to surroundingsEnvironment and climate won't stay the same everywhere. We'd love to have a nice sunny climate with blue sky, but that's not the case everywhere. Also, surroundings in city tend to differ a lot from that of a small town. Wherever you are, you learn to adapt accordingly.4. Bear with different kinds of foodThere's nothing like a home cooked meal. Nobody gets such luxury while they are travelling. Upside of this situation is you get to try different local cuisine and if you are up for it just lose your inhibitions, try some new flavors.5. Leave inhibitions about transportationLife would have been easier if we could just transport ourselves from point A to point B. Until such technology is invented we are stuck with the conventional means of transportation. A true traveller learns to be comfortable with any transportation he's got to reach his destination.6. Sympathize with local languagesThere are roughly 6500 languages spoken throughout the world. So, there is more chances than not that you'll come across 2 or 3 of them while you are travelling. After some time we do learn some basic words to get by in day to day life. To be honest, there's some fun being 'lost in translation.'7. Know things that really matter to you mostWhen you are travelling a lot by choice or out of necessity you learn about the things that matter in your lives. It might be an inanimate object like your bed or people like sister, parents and friends.8. Appreciate your beloved onesHuman is a social creature and it is proven so by anthropology. Even though new technology and social media has brought us closer than ever to our beloved ones, it's still not the same as human contact and human touch. When you are travelling, the far you are from your beloved ones, the closer you get to them.9. A new adventure might be just right around the cornerThe quote, "Anything happens all the time" sums it up. We can not control each and every element of our travelling and unbeknownst to us we are hurled into an adventure. That adventure may start with small things like missing a train and end up snowballing into something bigger. In that case, you just hold on to the ride with your dear life and pray it ends soon.10. Respect different culturesThere might be more cultures than there are languages in the world with their own different set of customs. Some of these customs might seem weird to us, but some of our customs might seem weird to them, as it works both ways. After some travelling you do get used to the cultures and customs.11. Live without social media The new generation of travellers is techno savvy. Updating status, posting pictures is like a second nature to most of us. Bear a fact in mind that all the places you travel might not have the same updated facility to use social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. When it comes to social media a traveller may have to be like Gautam Budhha and leave the lust of materialistic thing like social media behind him.
