Opposite = brutal, harsh, hurtful, rude, uncaring

Vine’s = goodness in actionStrong’s = excellence in character

Kindness is an act of love demonstrated by doing something for someone in a selfless way.

Mom, do we know anyone like that ?

Are Christians the meanest people in the world ?

Rude, crude, socially unacceptable.Lie, cheat, misrepresent, hurt and harm fellow man.

True Christians are not that kind of people.There is no such thing as a mean Christian !!!!

A real Christian does not mistreat anyone.They may falsely claim to be a Christian.

“That which maketh a man to be desired is his kindness;” Prov. 19:22a asv

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” Ps. 19:14

Prayer for the mouth

Ephesians 4:31-32 (ESV) “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

Kindness is learning to control anger Anger is weakness Kindness is strength

Proverbs 31:26 “She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.”

Eliminates gossip, slander, hateful, mean words

Micah 6:8 (ESV) “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

Zechariah 7:8-10 (ESV) “And the word of the Lord

came to Zechariah, saying, 9 “Thus says the Lord of

hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and

mercy to one another, 10 do not oppress the

widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and

let none of you devise evil against another in your

heart.”

Galatians 5:22-25 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Luke 10:30-37 - Parable of good Samaritan- inward kindness = compassion- outward show of kindness

Acts 9:36 “Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which translated in Greek is called Dorcas); this woman was abounding with deeds of kindness and charity which she continually did.”

Kindness is the best sort of revenge and wins more victories than wrath.

You can accomplish by kindness what you cannot by force.

No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.

“But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared.” Tit. 3:4

“And to godliness brotherly kindness” 2 Peter 1:7
