  • Ameloblastoma This longitudinally sectioned partial hemimandibulectomy specimen features two large cysts within the ameloblastoma.

  • Here is the typical microscopic pattern with odontogenic epithelium ina dense fibrous connective tissue stroma. The central portions are composedof loose, spindle-shaped cells resembling stellate reticulum. The peripheral rows of columnar cells are quite similar to the ameloblast or pre-ameloblast of the enamel organ.
