Ameloblastoma This longitudinally sectioned partial
hemimandibulectomy specimen features two large cysts within the
ameloblastoma.
Here is the typical microscopic pattern with odontogenic
epithelium ina dense fibrous connective tissue stroma. The central
portions are composedof loose, spindle-shaped cells resembling
stellate reticulum. The peripheral rows of columnar cells are quite
similar to the ameloblast or pre-ameloblast of the enamel
organ.
