Linda Marie Smith has written songs for over 30 years and through her continued development as a singer/songwriter and performer, has discovered that she is most passionate about presenting her work through a multimedia approach. Smith’s latest multimedia concert musical piece, Mearra~Selkie From the Sea, filmed by Emmy award winning Chris Olsen (Kai-Harding Productions), premiered on is airing nationally on PBS in 2016. This Celtic fairytale fantasy tells a story with music, lyrics, spoken word and stunning cinematic animated images. Her first multi-media show, the critically acclaimed The Triumph of Artemisia, debuted in 2006 along with her third album and continues to receive rave reviews. Smith’s unique vocal style centers around a folk rock sensibility. Her music is romantic, soulful, earthy and mystical; her lyrics and melodies weave colorful stories of intriguing people and curious places. Smith’s latest multimedia concert musical piece, Mearra~Selkie From the Sea, filmed by Emmy award winning Chris Olsen (Kai-Harding Productions), premiered on is airing nationally on PBS in 2016. This Celtic fairytale fantasy tells a story with music, lyrics, spoken word and stunning cinematic animated images.
