Position: Lower School Teachers Supervisor: Head of Lower School Status: Full-time Exempt Episcopal Day School is seeking experienced Lower School teachers to start in August 2018. Individuals must have the ability to lead a classroom where creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking are used to deliver a 21 st century learning experience. EDS seeks candidates who are growth-oriented, life-long learners passionate about working with children, and supportive of the school’s mission, vision, and core values. Candidates must be willing to partner with parents and work collaboratively with faculty. Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education and relevant teaching experience are required. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication as well as computer literacy and proficiency (word processing/spreadsheets/presentation software, online gradebook). Experience with Google Apps for Education (Gmail, Google Docs) and interactive whiteboard technology is preferred. The school offers a competitive benefits package.
