CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS

IMPALA reserves itself the right to reject advertising that be deemed not to be in agreement with its business orientation and publishing policy, to defer or suppress any insert for lack of publishing space, poor quality or other technical constraints or deficiencies, such decision to reject not to constitute grounds for claiming compensations.

It rests with IMPALA defining where to insert the advertising, depending on the pagination convenience and requirements, unless such advertising is covered by an insertion fee.

IMPALA shall not be held responsible for printing flaws, if such imperfec-tions are proved to be originated from low standard of quality of the deliveredmaterials or from non compliance of these with the required characteristics or, further, if such materials are not delivered within the scheduled times of delivery.

The magazines are printed in high technology rotary printing presses. However, owing to the fact of these being high speed machines, a decrease in terms of quality of the final product when compared with the original one, may occur in consequence of the colour matching. Therefore, in these circumstances, IMPALA shall not be held responsible for any possible quality degrading.

Any omission or error, for which IMPALA be confirmedly responsible, shall be compensated, exclusively, by republishing the advertisement, under the conditions that were, initially, laid down.

The advertising shall be scheduled by means of an Advertising Order or by any other written means. Irrespective of the form the advertising scheduling may take, this shall always be firm and irrevocable. Advertising scheduling by telephone shall be, promptly, confirmed by fax, e-mail or Advertising Order.

The cancellation of inserts or flyers will only be accepted if requested in advance and in writing, at least, 21 days before the date scheduled for publication of such inserts or flyers.

IMPALA is subject to and observes, strictly, the requirements of ICAP’s Code of Practise and other regulatory standards issued or adopted by the aforementioned institute, including resolutions issued from the same institute. Therefore, the client shall, fully, accept IMPALA’s decision not to divulge advertising messages that be deemed to be ethically or legally blameworthy, or to cause the same to be, promptly, removed.

The following charges shall be on the Advertiser’s account:- All the materials for advertising insertion, the selections to provided together with colour proof.- The payment of the statutory taxes.

Non Bleed

The cutting margin shall never be less than 7 mm. To ensure the protection of the texts, these shall develop, at least, 12 mm from the cutting or folding area.
