LED Lighting by EGLO verbindet rechtzeitig vor Erlöschen des warmen Scheins der Glühbirne dessen emotionale Qualität mit den zahlrei-chen Vorteilen der LED-Technologie. Und mit ganz neuen Möglichkeiten im Design.

Jeder kennt LED (kurz für „Licht emittierende Diode“) vom Handy-Display oder von der Sta-tusanzeige seiner Espressomaschine. In den letzten Jahren hat LED die professionelle Be-leuchtung von Ausstellungen, Shops, Lokalen revolutioniert – vor allem dank der dynami-schen Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten mit farbigem Licht: Leuchtdioden haben ein schmalbandiges, nahezu monochromes Spektrum; durch elek-tronisches Dimmen roter, grüner und blauer LEDs lassen sich beliebige Farbtöne mischen.

Die neueste Generation von Hochleistungs-LEDs macht nun auch die Erzeugung von wei-ßem Licht in der gewünschten Helligkeit und Farbtemperatur möglich. Anders als herkömm-liche LED-Produkte geben die neuen Wohn-raumleuchten von EGLO warmes, behagliches Licht mit bis zu 3.500 K ab.

Before the warm glow of the filament bulb finally disappears, LEDs by EGLO are opportunely com-bining its emotional qualities with the many ad-vantages of LED technology. And with totally new design options.

Everyone knows LEDs (short for „light-emitting di-odes”) from their mobile phone display or from the status display on their espresso machine. In recent years LEDs have revolutionised the professional lighting of exhibitions, shops, pubs and restaurants - primarily thanks to the dynamic options for the configuration of coloured lighting. Light emitting diodes have a narrow band spectrum that is almost monochrome; by the electronic dimming of red, green and blue LEDs it is possible to mix colour to-nes of all kinds.

The latest generation of high-performance LEDs now make possible also the generation of white light at the desired brightness and colour tempe-rature. Differing from conventional LED products, EGLO’s new domestic lighting provides a warm, comfortable light at 3500° K.

In this manner the atmospheric quality of the classic filament bulb is achieved. Leds for human beings.

• thanks to a five times lighting efficiency LEDs consume up to 80% less energy than conventional lighting

• the extremely long service life of up to 50,000 hours converts the light source from a throwaway item to a long-term investment that protects the environment and resources. When switched on for an average of four hours a day LED lights last for up to thirty years

• LEDs are practically maintenance free. In contrast to many already available products EGLO’s LED lighting ne-vertheless allows the light source to be replaced in the unlikely situation that this should be necessary

• LEDs differ from energy-saving lights in that they imme-diately deliver the full lighting efficiency when switched on. So there is no incentive for leaving lights to burn continuously

• LEDs do not emit any UV radiation and hardly any heat. This increased security is particularly important for ligh-ting within the reach of children

• Thanks to the mostly dimmable light of EGLO’s LED ligh-ting the ideal lighting ambience can be conjured up for every mood. As point-form light sources LEDs allow pre-cise direction of the light and interesting accents

• The miniature size of the LEDs makes possible new types of sophisticated design that are light in weight. At the same time the lights are more robust than they appear to be: Light-emitting diodes are resistant to shock and insensitive to vibration

• Dank fünffacher Lichtausbeute verbrauchen LEDs bis zu 80% weniger Energie als Allgebrauchslampen.

• Die extrem lange Lebensdauer von bis zu 50.000 Stunden verwandelt das Leuchtmittel vom Weg-werfartikel zur umwelt- und ressourcenschonenden Langzeit-Investition: Bei einer durchschnittlichen Einschaltdauer von vier Stunden pro Tag halten LED-Lampen bis zu dreißig Jahren.

• LEDs sind praktisch wartungsfrei. Im Unterschied zu vielen bereits am Markt befindlichen Produkten erlaubt ein Großteil der LED-Leuchten von EGLO für den Fall der Fälle dennoch den Austausch des Leucht-mittels.

• Anders als Energiesparlampen liefern LEDs nach dem Einschalten sofort die volle Lichtausbeute. Somit be-steht auch kein Anreiz, Lampen durchgehend bren-nen zu lassen.

• LEDs geben keine UV-Strahlung und kaum Wärme ab. Die erhöhte Sicherheit ist besonders wichtig bei Leuchten in der Reichweite von Kindern.

• Dank der großteils dimmbaren EGLO LED-Leuchten lässt sich für jede Situation des Lebens die ideale Lichtstimmung zaubern. Als punktförmige Licht-quelle erlauben LEDs präzise Lichtlenkung und inte-ressante Akzente.

• Die Miniaturgröße der LEDs macht neuartige, ele-gant-schlanke und leichte Designs möglich. Dabei sind die Leuchten robuster als sie aussehen: Leucht-dioden sind stoßfest und unempfindlich gegen Er-schütterungen.
