Supercell is a mobile game company that has developed popular games now such as Clash of Clans, Hay Day and Boom Beach. Of course everyone has seen at least one commercial for Clash of Clans with the “Hog Rida!” guy always leaping into the scene. However they always note at the end of the commercial “free to play on the app store”.

SUPERCELL

Just to narrow it down to one game, Clash of Clans is incredibly popular, it is a medieval strategy game that is completely free to play. Anyone who enjoys the game and follows it on any platform of social media will always be fi rst notified of any new updates, patches or problems and they even typically compensate the players for the game being down for long periods of time with in-game rewards!

CLASH OF CLANS

If you do follow Clash of Clans on social media, chances are you are also spammed with “free gems” (in-game purchased currency) which may misrepresent the company, as they are usually incredibly diffi cult or illegal to do and do not benefit the company at all.

MISREPRESENTED DATA

Supercell has individual ads for Clash of Clans and more recently Boom Beach, which generates a lot of hype on social media by themselves with over 1 million players and 83.5 thousand following on twitter. Boom Beach however is supported by Clash of Clans with a whopping 857 thousand followers. With all of the constant buzz already happening on CoC’s twitter page when they mention Boom Beach it does wonders to assimilate the fan base and double their revenue.

DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS

Being mobile applications, Clash of Clans and Boom Beach both can be downloaded on smart phones and tablets and other mobile devices. I personally play both games on my smartphone. Having good mobile games is great because you can play them anywhere and giving it a competitive feel makes it so much fun to play with friends. I also follow certain pages mentioned before that help keep me updated on upcoming content or deals, and also lets me share my own bases and be a part of the Supercell community online.
