一、感嘆句

陳述句 ( 主詞 + 不及物動詞 + 附加語 ) 中的副詞置於句首，而成為感嘆句。

Away flew my hat.(=My hat flew away.)On the hill stands my house.(=My house

stands on hte hill.)

如果主詞是一般名詞或名詞片語He jumped up --- Up he jumped.Here is your work permit. !Here it is!

二、否定副詞倒裝句

( 否定 ) never, nor, neither, not only, not until; ( 部分否定 ) rarely, hardly, barely scarcely, seldom); ( 表示少量 ) little, few, only, only.

Not a penny will I lend you.Never had I heard such a big lie.(=I never had heard

such a big lie.) Rarely did he watch midnight TV programs.By no means shall I invest in the stock market. Only in this way can we improve our financial situation.

二、否定副詞倒裝句

Not only didn't he mail the letter but also he forgot to pick up the laundry.

三、 So/Such...that; so/nor/neither

So...(that) 或 Such ...(that) So peculiar were his ways that no one likes to work with him.

so/nor/neither' 也是‘ Bob went to the movie and I did. Too.= Bob went to the movie and so did I. Bob didn’t do it and I did not, either. =Bob didn’t do and neither did I.This book didn't cost much or the journal did

not. The book didn’t cost much nor did the journal.

among which 係同位語的連接詞，其所引導的句子須倒裝。
