Why?

Because when my children or my students start to act unhappy, it is often because I’ve started to lose the right balance of authoritative parenting/teaching. A correction of my leadership style usually helps things out.

Often that means helping them understand WHY I’m asking something of them.

Part Two

This statement could start out with a quote or motto, but MUST include a deeper explanation of why this is part of your life philosophy. Merely restating the idea of the quote will be insufficient.

Instead this is a statement of how you believe that life should be lived AND an analysis of why you believe that idea.
