DESCRIPTION
AddingValues current digital channel was a support tool for showcasing services, work and people. Year on year research indicated that the site performed this role admirably and without digital positioning investment. The focus of the site needed to change to shopfront and digital marketing conversion tool which meant a radical change was required. We decided to take a different approach when building the site with an aim of trying to reduce the users clicks a much as possible and pull the content from lower levels to dynamic feed landing pages that can be targeted with clever use of digital positioning marketing activity. The build is component led mean that page templates are built up using a dynamic compilation of promotional, dynamic feed, call to action, video, content, social media, contact and carousel components that can selected, ordered and customised page by page. The build includes: - 4 template build - 30+ custom component elements build - Mobile responsive web design - Open source CMS - Custom user gating selective by resource, popup and page

AddingValues current digital channel was a support tool for showcasing services, work and people. Year-on-year insights indicated that the site performed this role admirably and without digital positioning investment. The focus of the site needed to change to shop front and digital marketing conversion tool which meant a radical change was required. Detailed insights revealed a number of current barriers that would need to be factored into the brief in order to move forward. The briefed requirements for the website were as follows:

Fully Responsive Build (RWD) The site is fully responsive with mobile navigation that provides a much better user navigation experience on mobiles devices and tablets. The main benefit of the RWD is that the site is singular and does not require a mobile version to run alongside the main site. Full Administration The site as been designed to take into account the client’s requirements to administrate their site, structure and content. The site is dynamically built, making it flexible and customisable with the ability to adapt to the needs and behaviours of its users. Less Templates More Components To make the site a flexible as possible the site has minimal templates which are used to determine the the allocation of stackable modular components that deliver core functionality across the site. Essentially it means you can build your own templates buy stacking components on top of a base page.
Responsive Marketing Activity With such a flexible modular component build naturally these have multi-purpose functionality, most components include text, image, animation, video, internal content pull, resources, external link pull, multi-layer carousel, all customisable page by page. This naturally gives an extreme level of customisation. Customer Gating Process To make the site as approachable as possible, the use of customer contact points has been integrated commonly throughout the site. These all channel into a custom gating system that will allow a user to register once on a cookie and then the system will log this along with any activity and will allow them access to any content whilst the cookie is still active. The system also allows blacklisting, and custom content, page and popup content administration.
