DESCRIPTION

The art and science of applying design and principles of aesthetics to clothing and accessories requires as much a deep understanding from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns, toilets and specifications for designs, sourcing, selecting and buying fabrics, trims, fastenings etc. as anticipating and forecasting trends and keeping up to date with emerging ones. VISTAS in Chennai offer an immersive & hands-on program in Fashion Styling 7 Design that takes students from design concepts and processes through to final production, progressing from basic drawing, draping, pattern making, sewing, and tailoring to haute couture while teaching business and contextual studies.
