Project Management
Project management is the process and activity of planning, organizing,
motivating, and controlling resources, procedures and protocols to
achieve specific goal in scientific or daily problems.
The primary challenge of project management is to achieve all of the
project goals and objectives while honoring the preconceived
constraints. The primary constraints are scope, time, quality and
budget. The secondary challenge is to optimize the allocation of
necessary inputs and integrate them to meet pre-defined objectives.

Initiation –Starting the
project
Planning –organizing &
preparing
Execution –Carry out the
work

project
The Project Life Cycle refers to
a series of activities which are
necessary to fulfill project goals
or objectives. Projects vary in
size and complexity, but, no
matter how large or small, all
projects can be mapped to the

Project Execution Phase
The Monitoring and Controlling process oversees all the
tasks and metrics necessary to ensure that the approved
and authorized project is within scope, on time, and on
budget so that the project proceeds with minimal risk. This
process involves comparing actual performance with
planned performance and taking corrective action to yield
the desired outcome when significant differences exist.
Monitoring and Controlling process is continuously
performed throughout the life of the project.
