Enjoy is what mother defines the meaning to my name,
Being mother’s favorite child,
I tail her wherever she goes,
Even a lightning and thunder can’t harm me,
As long as she holds me close,
Unlike father who hardly stays home,
Mending the net and drag it to the shore,
Together on the boat of fishermen he share,
Waiting for a good catch to bring back home,
My home, a little hut
With two tiny windows,
With wooden panel on the both side,
Where my mischievous brothers climb out to play,
Whenever the whistle sound heard from the outside,
‘Don’t go near the sinking mud, play far from there’
Mother yelled as they fled away.
How a tiny little feather gives a huge faith to a little girl.
This is a story on how a little girl saying goodbye to her much loved mangrove tree and moving
into city and finds faith on something as tiny as a feather to believe her tree will always be fine.
