Conventions Murder - Usually someone gets killed and that’s what the whole film is about (Killed wife and husband tries to find the killer and get revenge) – EG momento

Love- A couple who is in love untill something goes wrong with one of them. Suffering from being apart from each other.

Investigation – The director of the film usually makes people think it’s the wrong person that’s been accused of murder, at the end the killer is the most unexpected person.
