To redefine the principles and power of positive thinking for discovery and maximizing potential.

ANALYSIS OF SUBJECT-Positive thinking

Positive thinking means focus on or perception of possibility, good, loving, productive, competent, and worthy of life’s favorable offerings.

Capacity to develop, succeed, or become something.

Untapped power.

Latent/unused ability.

All you can be.

Explore: look at, search, study, investigate, survey, open up, go into, delve into, deal with

I will limit in this presentation our definition of “explore” to “search”.

REDEFINING THE SUBJECT

Using positive thinking as a means to take advantage of your unique and inherent talents for influence.

PURPOSE OF POTENTIAL

The purpose of man’s potential is to dominate. Not other men, but in your own area of influence (your niche). Man’s major problem is his abuse of the dominion mandate; he wants to put others into slavery (under control), he wants to compete with other men, he wants to be a duplicate of the other man.

POSITIVE THINKING AND THE QUEST FOR DISCOVERY

1. Am created to be a creator. Gen.1:28.

2. Am created to fulfill a purpose (that must be discovered) and not my private ambition. Gen.1:28.

PRINCIPLES OF TALENT (POTENTIAL)

1. Man’s success is tied to it.2. It is not determined by man; not for man’s

private interpretation, but for his discovery.3. It is a fragment of God’s potency in man.4. No man is void of potential.5. Every man becomes ‘his potential’.6. It is in it’s raw state in man.7. Man is accountable to God for his

potential.8. It is your birthright, your gift from God and

to humanity.

HOW TO DISCOVER YOUR POTENTIAL?

1. Enquire from your manufacturer. Jer.33:3

God is the sole manufacturer of the product ‘man’.

God is in the best position to ask this question; not your college teacher, your friends and associates, your parents. They could in any way be used as instruments.


2. Deep self-analysis. What do I love to do effortlessly

well, even without formal education (grace @ work)? (Gen.40:5-8)

What stirs uncommon anger in you(passion-in-disguise)? Acts 7:20-30.

What are my unique experiences? (1 Sam.17:36)

2 continued What brings me utmost fulfillment

and joy after doing, even without financial reward? (Paul Allen, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods).

What do you do that brings about generation of unusual ideas without struggles.


3. Visionary search of scriptures and books of anointed interpreters. (Luke 4:16-20, 1 Cor.2:9&10)

God’s word is the book of potentials. (John 1:1-5)

Every man’s potential is part in scriptures.


4. Stewardship & Apprenticeship. Luke 16:12

He that walks with the wise, shall be wise.

All great success-stories from scriptures and in our contemporary times, many found theirs through this means. (The Apostles, Moses, Elisha, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford etc).

POSITIVE THINKING AND MAXIMIZING YOUR TALENT (Potential)

1. It creates in you self-confidence, thereby boosting your self-esteem. (Joshua 1:5-9)

2. It makes you turn challenges into possibilities. (Caleb & Joshua).

3. Births in you in mindset of excellence. Ps.71:17-18.

4. It makes you see ‘greatness’ in ‘little’, ‘success’ in ‘failure’ etc.

DOMINIONFruitfulness Defines creativity, productivity,

manufacturing and generating results after it’s kind in units.

DOMINIONMultiplication Defines increasing the outcome of

results through an efficient system and discovering new areas to explore for productivity.

DOMINIONReplenish Defines breaking new grounds in

activities where your products haven’t reach and also breaking limits or not been localized in your exploit or productive activities.

DOMINIONSubdueBecoming a person of authority in

your own field of expertise. In other words, it means making a name for yourself.

Name signifies: identity, authority, and integrity.

CONCLUSIONUntil you find ‘yourself’ you don’t

find fulfillment.
