A Customised SIRIM-AWS Certified Welding Engineers (CWEng.) Programme Who is the AWS Certified Welding Engineer? A person with the demonstrated education, experience, and knowledge as defined by this information and who successfully passes the required examinations is considered qualified as an AWS Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng.). The CWEng. is capable of directing those operations associated with weldments and other types of joints that are completed in accordance with the appropriate contract documents, codes, and other standards to produce a satisfactory product. The welding engineer’s activities begins before production or construction welding and continues through the production process then ending when the production process is complete. If you work in the field of welding: You’ve made the smart decision to become AWS- certified. You know that certification can mean a proof that your skills and knowledge label you as one of the industry’s elite. Becoming certified means passing tests that require a high degree of knowledge, top-notch skills, and ability to navigate complex codes quickly. And if you, like everyone else, have little time to study, then the SIRIM -AWS has the answer. We at SIRIM Berhad offer five days of intensive course that will help prepare you for the AWS certifica- tion tests. Our course saves your company time and money on training and examination by not travelling abroad. When you hire an SIRIM-AWS certified employee, you are getting one of the most highly qualified people in the business.
