The Press Complaints Commission

The PCC is an independent body that deals with complaints about

newspaper and the press from members of the public. They deal with all

of the editorial content from the newspaper and magazines (and their

websites) and the conduct of their journalists against their 16 sections

and policies. They can also assist individuals by representing their

editors in advance of an article being published about them. They are a

magazine. This means I cannot use offensive language that could be

seen as offensive to people.

I will not slander or defame against anyone in my magazine. This means

I cannot publish something that will easily be seen as damaging an

individuals reputation.

I will make sure I ask the appropriate body’s permission before I start

working on their land. This means I must contact the owners of certain

land before I can perform photo-shoot's on their land.

I will not harass my desired models and interviewee’s. This means if the

people I want to model for me or I wish to interview decline, I must

respect that and not harass them until they agree.

I will make sure I perform risk assessments and make sure I’m safe

wherever I take my models and interviewee’s.
