Despite the idea that multitudes of authors often perpetuate, frogs are in fact green, not blue or purple. While they can spend time on land, they actually spend the majority of their existence in water. They are also very prone to jumping; both for frivolous frog fun and as a defense mechanism. Toads and frogs are not different creatures; toads are a sub-species of frogs.

For some time now there has been much debate between frog enthusiasts as to whether or not frogs are toads, or toads or frogs. In actuality, toads are simply one species of frogs. Thus, a toad is always a frog but a frog is not necessarily a toad. Less debate has been had over their dwelling habits. While they can spend time soaking in the rays on land, they live in the water. Much like their surroundings, frogs are the color green. Lastly, frogs jump. Their legs allow them to cover great distances in the air and some consider them the gymnasts of the amphibian community.
