Single Cartridge Housings

The high quality 50 Series housing range is supplied for smaller process flows where a single filter cartridge is required.

The 51 Series is suitable for general applications and the 52 Series and 53 Series are designed for higher pressures.

The 54 Series ClearView housing contains a borosilicate ‘viewing’ section to assist in process monitoring.

Other products in this range include the easy access 55 Series housing and the 56 Series which utilises a high security closure.

The 51 Series single cartridge housing is renowned for its high quality design and manufacture. With the ability to accept both standard Double Open End and Single Open End cartridges, this single stack housing with Vee clamp closure has proved very successful in a wide variety of applications within the liquids processing industry. The 51 Series will accept the full range of Amazon and industry standard cartridgesranging from 0.1 to 500µm with nominal lengths of 5, 10, 20 and 30”.

51 Series

51 Series junior cartridge housings are renowned for their high quality design and manufacture. They are suitable for a wide range of standard Single Open End junior cartridges containing either pleated depth media or membranes. The 52 Series single cartridge housing is a further development of the successful 51 Series housing. Still with the ability to accept both standard Double Open End and Single Open End cartridges, this single stack housing has an enhanced Cast clamp and solid ring closure, that has proved very successful in a wide variety of applications within both the liquids and low pressure gas processing industries.

The 52 Series will accept the full range of Amazon and industry standard cartridges ranging from 0.1 to 500µm with nominal lengths of 5, 10, 20 and 30”.

The 53 Series single cartridge housing is ideal for use in sensitive gas, steam and pulsating pressure environments. With the ability to accept both standard Double Open End and Single Open End cartridges, this single stack housing uses a DIN threaded closure that has proved successful in a wide variety of applications such as aerosol filling lines and nitrogen purge systems for beverage and pharmaceutical applications.

53 Series

The ClearView single cartridge housing is unique with its special clear bowl section for viewing the condition of the filter element.  Designed specifically for use in the Fine Chemicals and Pharmaceutical industries, the ClearView has proved to be highly successful where fluid cleanliness requires visual monitoring online.Materials of construction are either 316L or Alloy 22 for all metallic parts, whilst the unique clear screen utilises a Borosilicate tube for maximum fluid compatibility. The 55 Series single cartridge housing has been developed specifically for environments where access to the filter chamber is restricted.

This unit accepts Double Open End cartridges, and uses a central bolt with Tee nut for the closure.

Ideal for use in areas of limited access and where the spent fluid and element need to be retained within the bowl. Suitable only for use in the liquids processing industry. Features and Benefits• Investment Cast head (avoids the porosity & inclusion problems associated with lower

The 56 Series single cartridge housing is renowned for its high quality design and manufacture and accepts both standard Double Open End and Single Open End cartridges. The housing has a high security bolted closure and is particularly suitable for hazardous liquid and gas applications.

56 Series

The Amazon 59 Series single stack, high pressure cartridge filter assembly is ideal for use with PVC, sealants and waxes that are used in the Automotive and other industries. These high viscosity products (c.70,000 – 100,000 cP) are used to seal joints on car bodies against water ingress. Due to the physical characteristics of these high viscosity liquids, conventional filtration would not be suitable because of the high operating pressures required to apply these products.

The 59 Series filter assembly offers a cost effective and practical filtration solution for many high pressure, high viscosity sealant applications. Manufactured from Carbon Steel they have a working pressure rating of up to 350 bar at 110°C with a flow capacity of up to 20 lt/min. They contain 10” long Stainless Steel  high strength filter elements which have been proven to be the best way to prevent any particulate contamination from reaching the car body.
