Sajjan Jindal
An accomplished businessman and a 2nd generation tycoon and
entrepreneur, Sajjan Jindal is the chairman and managing director of JSW group in India.
Jindal had the foresight to lead the Indian steel industry, and JSW in particular, on a revolutionary journey, transforming India’s manufacturing philosophy.
The man himself- who is he?
B.E in Mechanical Engineering from M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore
After his graduation he joined the Jindal organization. He moved to Mumbai to look after the western region operations of O.P. Jindal Group in 1983.
He promoted Jindal Iron and Steel Company Ltd. (JISCO), for manufacturing of Cold Rolled and Galvanized Sheet Products in 1989.
He promoted JVSL, JSWEL, JPOCL and VMPL to ensure complete integration of the manufacturing progress in 1995.

‘The Man of Destiny’- O.P. Jindal founded Jindal Proprietorship by setting up factory at Liluah and hissar.
It was then taken over and supported by Sajjan Jindal, who founded JSW.
JSW steel started with a small plant at Vasind and Tarapur, with the merger of JISCO and JVSL.
