My proposal

The name of magazine is tour magazine , the name came about according to the words connotations with music . In assistance to this I felt that it was a general term , which was simple and easy to remember , also with this the title would be simple visually therefore could become a key figure of the magazine in the sense that the mast head would almost be a logo .

Our Message & purpose

• Tour magazine is a magazine aimed at the mass market of ‘ravers’ out there , over the years dance/club music have played extreme roles in the music industry .

• Our role as a magazine is to interact with this audience and ensure they receive accurate updates on the dance/club music circuit .

• This fun loving and free spirited music is what we what to represent as a magazine through our colourful magazine issues and through the visual aids we provide

Genre

• The genre in which my magazine will represent is club/dance music In this there are not many music magazines out therefore I found a gap in the market .

• My hopes are to launch this magazine not only to start the trend for this genre but to enhance the music’s popularity as it will expand to further audiences who may have heard the music but don necessarily know that it exists

• Although starting off small with just a weekly magazine I hope to eventually expand my business in making online variations available , and also perhaps a monthly magazine and eventually internationally .

• This genre of music may appeal to the minority group of people therefore by giving It new platforms to be expressed in I can only add to the advertisement of it .

Features • The features of my magazine will include : A weekly issued magazine Female cover stars Q&A , Pages with stars of this genre Competitions led by social media Interaction pages that allow the readers to give feed back Advertisements *selective* they have to be relevant for our readers Posters pages where you can cut out posters of stars Fashion pages Agony aunt / advice articles

The theme of my magazine is fun , free spirited , loud this will be shown through colour and imagery also through the use of colloquial language in which the readers will identify according to the dance music genre . This is important as it creates a bond between the writers and readers as the magazine shares its own lingo . The theme will always be girly , with lots of pink colours or neutrals and the fonts I will use will also add to this .

Conventions of media This is a typical and very basic model of the layout of my magazine cover , with this the cover will always take on the same format as we want the readers to feel we are consistent in our approach

We will always have the mast head on the top centre stretched across , in this the tour title will always be the same with the exception of special edition covers in which we may vary the colours .

My magazine will be extremely colourful with the use of bright colours this represent summer and the clubbing vibes of bright likes and costume

The cover lines will be set around the cover star in which would have alternating text sizes , fonts and colour , also the use of text boxes and shapes to make it visually captivating

Cover star I will use a female attractive cover style , her costume and props will include , a full face of makeup , and she will be wearing provocative clothing . She needs to look like a celebrity , her pose will be very “fashion model” were she will pout or pose as if she were Kate Moss . The shot will be a medium shot in which only her upper body will be seen , she will not hold any props . Her stance will be casual therefore our focus is more on her face rather than her body also .

Double page spread My main feature article in which I will make will be a question and answer , with a music star , with this giving our readers and insight into their favourite artists . The questions will be a contribution from the fans through posting their questions on social media (twitter/Instagram) , thus we can interact with our audience on a wider range . The interview will be a formal interview , us using colloquial language so the audience feel like it is a conversation with the artist .

The questions include the following Q1. the fans would like to know like how the collaboration came about so like were you friends with Dubstep . How were you introduced ?Q2.How does this new sound influence your whole album ?Q3.What was your main inspiration for the album ? Q4. Quiz made by the fans Chocolate or candy ? Summer or Winter?Clubbing or House parties ? Beach party or Boat party ?
