•Are you able to personally recommend everyone in your network?– Don’t connect to everyone you meet at conferences

– Only connect to people you’d be willing to introduce to someone

– How do you introduce yourself? ‘I’m product manager at X company’ or ‘I’m a experienced product leader in Y industry’

– Include certifications or relevant degrees

• Customized URL

• Summary is your 30 second Elevator Pitch! Make it good.

• Include Specialties in your Summary (i.e. Keywords)

• Experience should not be just name of company and position. Include your key responsibilities and accomplishments.

• Include certifications (PMP, Six Sigma etc) and organizations you are part of.
