A recent study compared a business Facebook page with 2 million followers, a Super Bowl television ad, and a prominent celebrity endorsement. The Facebook page yielded overwhelmingly positive results while costing a fraction of an expensive celebrity endorsement or $1 million for a 30-second spot during the Super Bowl. The same study, however, revealed that 53% of businesses invested in social media marketing were not getting the maximum return on their investment.
