Eisenhower created the program in 1956 to build people-to-people relationship among Sister Cities and to increase cultural understanding and awareness. In 2009, the City of Los Angeles celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the Sister Cities of Los Angeles and partnerships with Nagoya, Japan, and Eilat, Israel. Today, Sister Cities of Los Angeles is a major force in international relations, trade, and cultural exchange with 25 cities. Two major Sister Cities of Los Angeles events are scheduled for 2010 and you are cordially invited to be one of only ten Official Sponsors. SISTER CITIES OF LOS ANGELES 2010 FUNDRAISING PARTY Featuring a Salute to the Beatles From the Ed Sullivan years to Abbey Road. Live! Featuring Paperback Writer. Buffet / Wine & Cocktail Bar / Silent Auction / Surprise Guests & Attractions Thursday, May 6, 2010, 5:00pm-10pm The Gilmore Adobe at Farmers Market, Los Angeles Cost: $75 per person; $600 for 10 tickets. Company logo on the Fundraising Party invitation (printed version and electronic PDF version emailed to 25,000 supporters. (Note: logo on printed version subject to deadline.) Company banner (approx. 3 x 6; provided by company) at entrance to Gilmore Adobe on May 6. Company 8 display table with signage on grounds of Gilmore Adobe during Party. (Signage to be provided by company; Gilmore Adobe can provide 8 table and 2 chairs). Company logo to be included on custom Sponsor banner. Company logo included on a minimum of three (3) sponsor recognition posters at select locations at Gilmore Adobe grounds during Party (e.g., entrance/check-in table; buffet station; beverage bars). Company acknowledgment by emcee on stage during festivities. Company representative acknowledgment and introduction on stage during Anniversary Ceremony with opportunity for short reply. Company logo and link to website on the Events & Sponsorship page of the Sister Cities of Los Angeles websites (www.sistercitiesofla.com for the duration of 2010. Private Tour for 6 of the Gilmore Adobe Home (May 6 only). Sister Cities of Los Angeles Cultural Day at The Grove (June 27, 2010) Company display at The Grove adjacent to Cultural Day festivities (with restrictions; subject to logistics and The Grove approval). Company logo on Cultural Day posters (approx. 500 printed; electronic PDF version emailed to 25,000 supporters.) Company logo to be included on The Grove stage backdrop Sponsor banner. Company logo included on multiple posters in standing frames displayed throughout the Grove a minimum of one week prior to June 27. Company acknowledgment by emcee on stage at throughout the 4-hour festivity (minimum 4 mentions).

Access for two company representatives to private staging area adjacent to the stage at the Grove. (Note: this is not a VIP hosting area. The staging space is very limited and very public.) SPONSORSHIP FEE: $2,500.00 (cash or a minimum of $1,500 cash and $1000 approved in-kind) YES!
