June 10-13, 2013 • 1605 Broadway At 49th Street, New York City
Latin America is the second largest mining region globally and the potential to maximise returns on investment are clear. However, changes in the political landscape alongside community tensions and more stringent environmental compliance mean that the risk and cost associated with mining in the region can increase. With the signifi cance of mining developments in the region increasing, Resourceful Events, an associate company of Mining Journal and Mines and Money brings you the Latin America Mining Investment Summit in New York on June 10-13.
Iron ore, gold, copper and silver are key areas of interest for the investment sector from traditional mining centers in Chile, Peru, Brazil and Mexico to emerging growth markets including Colombia and Central America. With excellent grades available in the region, senior fi gures from the investment community will join leading fi nancial institutions, mining corporations and junior miners to identify mining investment opportunities in Latin America.
The event will highlight the key opportunities and challenges associated with raising investment for Latin American mining projects and will cover core areas such as the current and future investment climate, investor perspectives on the region, changing political, social and environmental trends as well as focus sessions on specifi c countries and regions. With excellent networking opportunities and a spotlight drawn on Latin American mining and your project, can you afford to miss out?
