What did we do?

Board and Committee Membership• What was issue?

• We needed a way to track board and committee membership

that would be clear and concise and would allow for easy

reporting and tracking.

• Campaigns would be too messy and hard to maintain.

• Classification Types would have been mixed with other classifications

(employee, donor, etc.).

• How did we solve it?

• We created a custom object at the contact level to manage the information!

What did we do?

Volunteer sign-up, Processing & Hours Tracking • What was issue?

• We needed to have all volunteers sign up online and include

required information for running background checks.

• We wanted to track the processing of new volunteers from

sign-up to background checks to placement .

• We also needed to track hours volunteered, but in a much simpler

way than what is built into Luminate CRM with the Volunteer Job Shift object.

• How did we solve it?

• We created a volunteer sign-up form using “Volunteers for Salesforce.”

• We created a custom object to track the volunteer process.

• We created a custom object to record volunteer hours.
