Lee’s character wore a black T-Shirt in his scene. We chose this because he had just got in from a night out and he was too lazy to change, we felt this reflected his character the best. However we decided to take his outside jacket off as the trailer is set in he summer therefore summer nights are very hot.

However we decided to take his outside jacket off as the trailer is set in he summer therefore summer nights are very hot. We also made Lee wear grey sweat pants, this portrays his character to be lazy and enjoy lounging around. Stereotypically the sort of people who wear these are those of lower income reflecting the fact that he is at university and only has his student loan. The use of these sweat pants also connotes to the audience that he may be lazy and enjoys being comfortable when in his room.

Although if you’re drunk and lazy you may leave your shoes on Lee Is very precious about his trainers. He is what some people call a ‘sneaker addict’ for this reason he does not sleep with his trainers on.

The stereotype of glasses, connotes to the audience intelligence and knowledge. This links to Soph’s main themes along with determination. For this reason we decided to have her wear glasses as we felt this would ensure that the audience could easily understand the message we were trying to connote.

Soph wore a silver bracelet along with a sliver ring. We felt that this could connote key themes about her, as well as linking to her upbringing and it gives her a backstory without making it too obvious we are trying to show this to the audience.

She wore a burgundy sweatshirt and jeans. The use of the sweatshirt connotes that she is introverted and quiet as this colour is not in your face and it wouldn’t stand out in a crowd. The use of standard black jeans shows that she is not very experimental with her fashion and therefore doesn’t want to stand out, this links to the fact she is from another part of the UK.
