Studies have shown that people are naturally more approachable and willing to network when they have at least one person they know around them, a ‘wingman’ per say. Having a familiar face in what could be an intimidating setting helps ease the conversation and helps set the platform to a possible business relationship, friendship or contact.

The goal of our event is to attain a certain dynamism within the crowd targeting a specific group of Hispanics, business professionals and entrepreneurs. The idea behind Friends helping Friends: The Networking Series is to attend with at least one friend. It’s almost your event ticket; a business card, a friend and a good conversation.

These factors also make this event the perfect platform to present your product, brand or service to an intellectual group of individuals with an opportunity for consumer interaction.

• Over the past decades, companies less than five years old have accounted for nearly all

job creation in the United States.

entrepreneurs.

• Brickell’s and Miami’s presence within the Hispanic community, makes it a perfect

platform to market Hispanic professionals; which make up the fastest growing segment of

entrepreneurs and small business owners in the US.

With the rapid increase of mentoring, incubation and entrepreneurial “hot spots” such as

MEC261, StartUp-Miami, Meetup, etc. It only makes sense to create a common ground

amongst these entrepreneurs with other business professionals in the area. The event is

called Friends helping Friends – which are the direct intentions – to help our ‘friends’ in the

community enhance their lives professionally and personally.

Friends helping Friends : The Networking Series has chosen the Brickell Miami area as

its home base because of its central location, demographics and overall opportunity for its guests. FhF’s main goal is to target the combined demographic of Hispanics, professionals and entrepreneurs in South Florida.

•As of 2010, the population of Brickell made it one of the densest neighborhoods in the United States, and the densest neighborhood south of New York City.

•In the 2010 US Census, the racial makeup of Brickell was 62.0% Hispanic and 38.0% non-Hispanic.

•Hispanics, business professionals and entrepreneurs 25-50yrs have limited networking and professional enhancement opportunities.

The Networking Series will take place on a quarterly basis in one of Miami’s top professional neighborhoods and house some of Miami’s most noteworthy guests. From business professionals to entrepreneurs alike, Friends helping Friends is a platform unlike no other with a dynamic crowd that is perfect for learning, recruiting and making connections!
