of its products. Hence it has evolved a set of consumer guidelines, which if followed ensure optimum and trouble free performance with enhanced durability of
ESS ESS products for years to come. The guidelines are:
DURING INSTALLATION
• Use 25 mm pipeline instead of 20 mm to ensure better flow of water. Lay the pipelines straight and vertical as far as possible.
• More than required number of bends throttle the pressure of water. Keep the number of bends in the pipelines to a minimum. All the supply lines must have
vent pipes which helps in giving a smooth flow of water from the fittings.
• Centre to center distance of pipe fitting for Hot & Cold inlet for all types of wall mounted mixtures should be maintained at 165 mm by which any of our wall
mixers can be easily installed without any problem.
• Place the outlet point in the overhead tank atleast 2.5cm above the ground level of the tank. This prevents the flow of foreign particles, sand, etc. along with
water supply into the fittings avoiding the possible damage to the working parts.
POST INSTALLATION
• Cover the taps polypack before or after their installation till they are put to actual use to protect the fine finish of fittings from dirt, stains and other damages.
• Do no use harsh cleaning agents containing abrasives and acids. Instead use a soft sponge or wet cloth with soapy water / diluted vinegar to protect the colour
finish.
• Clean the aerators provided in the items at regular intervals for a perfect flow of waterfrom the fittings. To clean the aerator, remove it, knock out the silver insert
and rinse thorough with water.
• Clean the overhead tank thoroughly before the supply starts. It is suggested that the overhead tank must be cleaned at regular intervals to avoid deposition of
foreign particles. To avoid any foreign material to pass through the tap use jalli.
WARRANTY AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
• 7 years warranty against any manufacturing defect and one yearwarranty on surface, finishes and colour on producing warranty card or bill.
• We do not accept any liability for: damage caused by inappropriate or incorrect use, defective installation or commissioning by the customer or any third party,
normal wear & tear, careless cleaning or failure to clean, improper treatment or maintenance, unsuitable cleaning agents or other chemical influences.
• Care instructions: As a general rule, we recommend wiping the fitting dry with a soft cloth after each use. In the case of light dirt, it is sufficient to clean the fitting
with soap & wet cloth.
• Problems with deposits of dirt and lime scale in aerator and shower sieves are easy to rectify. Simply remove the aerator using the ESS ESS aerator key, knock
out the sieve insert and rinse through thoroughly with water. The shower sieves can be unscrewed and removed.
• For intensive cleaning, we recommend immersing the sieves in water containing up to 10% vinegar at 20.
• After soaking for 2-5 hours, the sieves must be thoroughly rinsed with water.
• Please avoid using cleaning agents which contain hydrochloric acid, formic acid, acetic acid, phosphoric or chlorine bleaching substances. Also avoid
abrasive cleaners and scouring pads.

· Use minimum amount of water to bath.
· Water your lawn only when it is needed.
· Do not leave the tap running while washing the dishes in the kitchen.
· Install small shower heads to reduce the flow of water.
