Current statistics indicate that nearly 70% of all change efforts fail. That’s an extraordinary waste of resources. So why is it that so many fail? In this session we will explore that question and discuss approaches to implementing sustainable change, including the DICE Framework, a tool that accurately predicts potential success or failure of a change initiative. Participants will have an opportunity to apply the DICE Framework to an existing or upcoming change effort.About the Presenter: Marty Jacobs, president of Systems In Sync, has been teaching and consulting for almost twenty years, applying a systems thinking approach to organizations. She currently provides strategic planning and policy governance expertise for the Vermont School Boards Association and has worked with several school districts to engage them in community conversations. In the nonprofit sector, Marty provides strategic planning, board leadership training, policy governance implementation, community engagement facilitation, and staff development.
